In this program, participants will get an in-depth understanding of the Child Integrated Psychology Programs Organization (CIPPO) mental health and wellbeing (MHW) framework.
This framework focuses on empowering professionals in the field of psychology to nurture children’s mental health in their natural environment.
Covering foundational aspects of child psychology, emotional development, and social needs, the program emphasizes a proactive and compassionate approach to nurturing resilience and confidence in young people. The MHW framework is highly reliant on increasing protective factors and reducing risk factors in children’s and adolescents life. We also adopt a psychosocial relational strength based model that focuses on utilizing cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) strategies, Dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), social and emotional learning (SEL), parent training and empowerment.
Participants will explore how children’s mental health is influenced by their environment, relationships, and developmental stages, as well as learn evidence-based strategies to create safe, supportive spaces for emotional expression and growth.
